【Equipment】

Bamboo Cup & Glass Cup

【Mechanism】

Cupping can dispel wind and cold, promote qi and blood activation, thereby improving our body’s immunity, reduce swelling and relieve pain. Modern research has shown that cupping can activate the lymphatic system, promote blood circulation and encourage deep tissue repair.

【Precautions】

1. After cupping, it is advisable to drink warm water or ginger tea and avoid strenuous exercise or alcohol consumption. Avoid bathing within two hours of cupping treatment.
2. Small blisters, water droplets and blood stasis may appear after cupping. These will usually be absorbed by the body over a few days. If itching is present, abstain from scratching.

【Contraindications】

Not suitable for patients with severe cardiovascular disease, bleeding disorders, severe edema, severe skin diseases or localized skin lesions, loss of skin elasticity, high fever or fits and seizure. Please consult your physician if unsure.

Scraping plate & ointment

【Mechanism】

Scraping can stimulate the acupoints and meridian on the surface of the human body, hence regulating qi and blood flow, removing blood stasis, freeing channels and dredging collaterals and dispelling the evil qi from the body. After scraping, the body will feel relaxed and comfortable.

【Precaution】

1. Scraping can deplete the body fluid and energy, hence it is advisable to drink warm water and have sufficient rest after scraping. Avoid bathing within two hours of scraping treatment.
2. If you encounter any dizziness, heart palpitations, cold sweats, nausea and/or coldness in extremities during scraping treatment, please inform your physician immediately.

【Contraindication】

Not suitable for patients with bleeding disorders, fractures, infectious skin diseases, pregnant women, phobia of scraping. Please consult your physician if unsure.
